 CONNEX-Couplings
for economical sealing and joining
of conveyor pipelines
Areas of application
The Pipe-Coupling System provides for the economically most favorable
sealing and joining of conveyor pielines.
Conveyor pipelines for the pneumatic conveying of bulk materials are
subject to heavy wear.
Flanged joints, with their seals and off-center
construction, create turbulence and thus added wear.
The pipe couplings center the pipes offset- and vortex-free and the
interior gaskets seal the pipeline tightly. An inlaid stainless steel
tape assures potential equalization against the build-up of static
electricity.
Operation
The conveyor pipes are centered, fitted and spot-welded together. The
welding points are sanded flat. The interlocking gasket of the CONNEX
coupling is laid around the pipe joint and pressed together to be
pressure-tight with the screwed-on outer coupling casing. The
interlocking rubber gaskets, with their different specifications,
guarantee enduring gas- and dust-tight joints.

Heavy duty CONNEX Coupling
A product addition is available with the CONNEX coupling with EXTENSION
ARM which increases the possible mechanical stress the coupling can be
subjected to.
